____________________________

When using the PC5250 EHLLAPI/DDE interface, a path must be
set to the Emulator subdirectory of the Client Access/400
installation path and to the Shared subdirectory of the
Client Access/400 install path.

The following paths need to be added to your AUTOEXEC.BAT:

  C:Program FilesIBMClient Access
  C:Program FilesIBMClient AccessEmulator
  C:Program FilesIBMClient AccessShared

PC5250 Fonts for Microsoft Windows 95
_____________________________________

o When running PC5250 on Latin2, Cyrillic Multilingual,
Greek, or Turkish versions of Microsoft Windows 95, it
is necessary to install a font file specific to that
language. These special font files are stored in an
uncompressed format in the QCA400WIN32INSTALL directory
on the AS/400 system. The font file names are as follows:

       PCS1250.FON Latin2
       PCS1251.FON Cyrillic Multilingual
       PCS1253.FON Greek
       PCS1254.FON Turkish

To install the font file, copy the font file from the
AS/400 to the Emulator subdirectory of the Client
Access/400 install path on the workstation
  (i.e. "Program FilesIBMClient AccessEmulator").

Once the font is installed, check for the existence of the
PCSWIN.INI file in the EmulatorPrivate subdirectory of
the Client Access/400 installation path. If the file
exists, ensure that the section <LastExitView> does not
exist. This section contains font information for previous
sessions. If the section exists, remove it.

o When running PC5250 over APPC the user may specify a
Workstation ID to be used as the name of the device on the
AS/400. When specifying a name, you must ensure that the
name is not already used by a device of another type and
that the name is not already in use. When this situation
occurs, you will see a "V" in the lower left corner of the
PC5250 screen followed by a "?" in a box. This could
occur, for instance, if you specified a Workstation ID
of SESSION1 for a display session, but an AS/400 printer
device already existed with the same name.
